Location, Location, Location
You don’t want to be stuck in the car for extended periods of time with antsy little ones while on staycation so proximity is everything. First and foremost, Magic Village Yards is just minutes from Disney so getting to and from the parks is a cinch! Though the homes are equipped with full kitchens, you may not feel like cooking (you are on vacation after all). Luckily, there are dozens of options all within a couple of minutes of the villas, including Chick-fil-A, Dunkin’ Donuts, Wawa, and Texas Roadhouse, just to name a few.
Magic Village Yards’ on-site restaurant, Villagio, is not your average hotel restaurant. The setting is picturesque and the food is unbelievably good. They offer lunch and dinner. A few highlights: the Portafoglio Castello, an appetizer featuring baked pizza dough, mozzarella and Calabrese sausage; the Quattro Formaggi Pizza (NOT your average cheese pizza); the Classic Picanha Burger, top rump steak (picanha) burger with all the toppings and served with fries; and Fragola, a dessert pizza topped with Nutella and strawberries.
Because the restaurant opens up to the pool, they also offer a poolside menu. We loved the food so much, my family would gladly go back just to eat, even if we weren’t staying there.
Amenities and Services
In addition to the restaurant and pool, Magic Village Yards offers a fitness room and play room, packed with lots for little ones to do and play with, and a shuttle to Disney.
Overall we were very impressed with everything during our stay and would definitely recommend it! If you’re heading to Disney or that general area, you’ll be pleased to find a home away from home at Magic Village Yards. To learn more and to schedule your stay, visit their website.
