I am excited to share with you about our family’s recent stay at Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club. From the moment we walked in the door we felt swept away from the hustle and bustle of the typical, bachelorette-party-vibe of South Beach. This sophisticated, luxury hotel has a beautiful Art Deco design with bold navy and gold hues throughout. I could have spent hours on the couches in the lobby bar simply because the intentional design caused me to exhale.
I think my 2 year old even felt the luxurious ambiance because she insisted she needed her purse everywhere we went.
The hotel has been open to guests since 1940 but now boasts a modern, updated look and feel. In one of the rooms off the lobby hangs an original advertisement from years ago when the going rate for a room was less than $40 per night. It will cost you more than that to stay there now but I can guarantee that you get what you pay for here.
We were welcomed with exceptional service from the moment we stepped on property. I remember each person we encountered by name because I was impacted by their service. Miguel showed us to our room which had a killer view of the pool and the beach. Shantay, a Cadillac Team Member who happens to also follows Miami Moms Blog, checked in on us daily.
The hotel offers daily breakfast at Donna Mare, the on-site restaurant. It is filled with natural light and the feelings of Mediterranean ease meets Tel Aviv chic.
The food was delicious with plenty of kid-friendly options. The staff went above and beyond to make our breakfast with two little ones a pleasant experience.

The attention to detail for families was evident. The breakfast buffet at kid level, sunscreen on tap at the pool, even a bag of beach toys for your kids, Cadillac thought of everything. However, my favorite amenity is hands-down the beach play area. I will not stop raving about it.
Every Mom knows that the only thing worse than hauling the 1.2 million items necessary for a beach visit with kids is when said kids are bored 10 minutes into beach time and whining to go back to the pool. Cadillac has solved this problem. Going to the beach with kids as a guest of Cadillac Hotel & Beach Resort is a total win.
The hotel provides 2 chairs with your room so you don’t have to fork out any additional cash to stay comfortable oceanside. However, the most impressive detail is the designated Kid’s Play Area. A semi-circle dune separates the kids far from the water in their own space filled with play ready beach toys. It also has umbrellas and miniature adirondack chairs. There’s even games for the big kids too like Cornhole and Jenga. This space truly transformed our beach day and made it thoroughly enjoyable! Highly recommend. This has been the Cadillac feature that I cannot stop talking about.
We loved our ocean view room which also gave us a great view of the pool below. Europeans must be on to this secret family hideaway in Miami because we felt like we traveled to Europe just by the number of international guests we encountered during our stay. It’s worth saying again: people from all over the world vacation in The Magic City! Let’s see it for ourselves!
