Splish Splash! Miami is the land of endless summer and endless water activities! We are always looking for the best places to stay cool in the warm summer sun. While the beach is awesome, it’s great to have a creative alternative too.

Pinecrest Gardens

Splash ‘n play area designed for children ages 2-12. The water playground is free with your $5 garden admission. Did we mention giant palm trees that mist and a waterfall tree? When you’re all splashed out, enjoy a visit to the petting zoo or Swan Lake, feed the fish, adventure through the gardens or challenge each other in a game of oversized chess.

Helen Sands Pool Splash Park

Splash Park, Swimming Pool, Children’s Playground and more! Splash Park is open in the summer from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $2.50.

City of Miami Parks & Recreation 

The City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department has 12 aquatics sites around the city! 


Normandy Isle Park & Pool 

7030 Trouville Esplanade, Miami Beach

Lap pool for adults, an interactive play pool with toys for toddlers, and umbrellas for shade. 

FREE for residents!
Ages 4 – 17: ($6 non-residents)
Ages 18+: $10 non-residents)

The Venetian Pool – Coral Gables

The massive 820,000 gallon pool was created in 1923 from a coral rock quarry and it is fed from an underground aquifer. In the spring and summer seasons, the pool is filled and drained daily! There are cave-like grottos and 2 waterfalls. 

PARENTS PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Children under three years of age will not be admitted. Parents must provide proof of age three to enter. Children must be 3 years of age and at least 38 inches tall.
