Cookies with Santa at The Residence Inn Marriott Surfside: Event Recap

0

Cookies with Santa was so much fun this year we decided to host it in 3 locations (Key Biscayne, Cutler Bay, & Surfside)! Our final event of the weekend was held at The Residence Inn Marriott Surfside. Surfside is a quaint beach town just north of Miami Beach and the hotel was a perfect venue for this event.

The Venue:

This was our 2nd year to host the event in this location and this year the crowd more than doubled in size this year! The beautiful hotel lobby came to life with the excitement of children ready to meet Santa Claus!

Santa arrived and the crowd went wild. He was busy taking photos, listening to Christmas wishes, and putting smiles on everyone’s faces for nearly 3 hours! Luckily, Santa felt right at home in his very own Gingerbread House courtesy of Our Inspirations Party!

Everyone enjoyed meeting our jolly old St. Nick… well, almost everyone!

Children were able to enjoy their own Art Basel opportunities while they created masterpieces with Pipa and Belu. Their Art Cart Craft Station was a hit and kept the children busy for hours! Children were able to decorate gingerbread men, Christmas trees, explore with Play-Doh, and color holiday themed coloring sheets.

The Vendors:

Celebrity Chef Max Santiago wow’ed the crowd with his gourmet cookies made from the finest ingredients. Guests had a hard time choosing between 3 unique flavors. Mickey decided to go for all three!

Chef Max’s newest cookie shop in Fort Lauderdale is called Batch Cookie Co. Once you taste the cookies you realize that it’s worth the drive to get them! Batch Cookie Co even offers holiday boxes if you need a last minute gift idea or a holiday party treat!

Guests sipped on hot cocoa provided by LYNQ. Kids and families enjoyed sipping on veggies and fruit and didn’t even know it! LYNQ is known for their amazing mixes that sneak in fruit and veggie servings in delicious drinks.

What’s a holiday event without a little shopping? Guests enjoyed visiting with our select vendors who brought their products to showcase.

You and Me Time was one of our VIP vendors attending all three events. The shared about their intentionally crafter conversation cards and how they can provide meaningful moments with your loved ones.

Dino’s Cupcakes was a hit and had everyone (even Chef Max!) satisfying their sweet tooth with their scrumptious homemade cupcakes.

Peeakboo Ice Cream was dishing out free ice cream to guests and the best news – it was loaded with hidden veggies too! Who needs salad when you can eat ice cream that’s organic and good for you?! That’s a win! As Moms we give it two thumbs up! It’s even Santa approved!

Kendra Scott was on site selling their beautiful jewelry — a perfect gift for any Mom!

Serrano and Dina’s table was filled with personalized gifts, the perfect thoughtful gift giving idea for anyone on your list. We love their custom ornaments!

The Entertainment:

Who can forget the facepainting? The children enjoyed taking home a piece of the party with a fun painted face from Caroline Party.

We ended the evening with a wonderful show from Mickey and Minnie and their Elf Pal. They entertained the crowd with an interactive story followed by a dance party!

Everyone’s favorite characters even hung around for photos after the show! Thanks again to Caroline Party for bringing the excitement for the kids.

The beautiful Santa photos were made possible by Perfect Love Photography. Rosa did an amazing job capturing the event!

Thank you again to The Residence Inn Marriott in Surfside for hosting our 2nd Annual Cookies with Santa event!
