Our October Mom’s Night Out event was at the most adorable shop called Plume Home Décor. This is a luxury home accessories boutique located in the heart of Coral Gables. They specialize in designer pillows, lamps and wallpaper.
Their selections are globally inspired unique pieces that they curate on their travels around the globe. They offer many custom design options and their passion is to help you make your home a reflection of your lifestyle. If you live in or around Miami, visiting this store is a must! I promise you won’t be disappointed one bit.
The owners of Plume are a mother-daughter duo. And let me just say, they are as beautiful on the inside (and out) as their store is! You will immediately feel like you are in the presence of old friends when you walk in their store. It’s so gorgeous that you won’t want to leave.
Not only did we get to shop the beautiful products offered at Plume but we were also able to meet other amazing local business owners.
Maria D’Ocon of Atelier D’Ocon was at the event showcasing her incredible handmade baptism and communion dresses. If you have children with upcoming First Communions or Baptisms, you have to check her out. She has an atelier in Coral Gables and even creates handmade custom wedding dresses. She is only 22 years old and she has already had her own runway show in New York! Amazing!
There was also an India Hicks pop-up shop available at the event and the jewelry was a hit. Johana Lorefice of One Rose FL designed floral arrangements for the event that were outstanding! It was so much fun connecting with these talented women who are also Miami Moms!
Like all Mom’s Night Out events we were welcomed with gift bags (Thanks to Turtle Journal, Sunny Cords, Plume & Sunset Drugs!), delicious food, and wine, of course!
Speaking of the food, can we please talk about this incredible spread from Michelle Goltz? We are all going to be dreaming about her salmon dip for sure. To say we were spoiled at this event was an understatement.
Four of us won amazing giveaways! (I won the colorful clutch I’m holding in the picture above!) Shout out to Plume, Kendra Scott, Trump National Doral, One Rose FL and Elaine Cuervo for the outstanding giveaways!
Several things I love most about being apart of the Miami Moms Blog:
- Our monthly Mom’s Night Out events. It’s truly amazing what 3 hours out with other moms will do to recharge your sanity!
- Meeting amazing women and moms throughout Miami that I most likely wouldn’t have ever met.
- Every event is held in a new spot around the city! I’ve been to so many places now that I never would’ve gone to if it wasn’t for this group!
I’ve been so blessed to be able to be apart of the Miami Mom’s Blog since the beginning when the website launched in July. Gifts is one of my love languages, but above all is quality time with people I love and truly care about. Can I just tell you how alive I feel by finally finding my “tribe!”
I feel that this next statement is a constant learning process for me, but regardless of the situation, God’s timing seems to always be so perfect. This amazing group of moms came into my life when I so desperately needed it. If you too are in search of some local moms to hang with, please come to our next event! You’ll have a wonderful time and meet some of the most amazing moms in this city.
We all come from different walks of life and backgrounds. There’s so much to learn when you become apart of a group like this. We’re here to encourage, empower, and equip each other and YOU! How awesome is that?! I’m a firm believer that big things happen when we support each other, aren’t you?!
