I am excited to share with you how much I have fallen in love with the products I received compliments of DockATot! When our first child was born in 2017 I remember hearing “all the rage” about the newest baby paraphernalia and thinking, “Do I really need this or that?” In typical new-Mom fashion I thought it was dire to own almost every baby gadget possible. I would not make the same mistake twice. When baby #2 arrived last November we were launched into one of the busiest times of our lives. The holidays, hosting an event for 500 people, managing life (and sleep habits) with 2 children under 2. What is a DockATot?
I’m so glad you asked. DockATot is a multi-functional lounger, co-sleeper and playtime lounger that your baby will love. It is meant to give them that snug, cuddled up feeling. How long can I use a DockATot?
The DockATot comes in 2 sizes so it can grow with your little one. It’s not like some baby gear that you child grows out of before they ever really use it. The Deluxe is suitable for ages 0-8 months and the Grand is made especially to fit babies 9 months all the way up to 3 years old! The amount of use I will be getting out of this product makes the nearly $200 price tag feel much more reasonable. Both sizes are tested for breathability and the Grand is perfect for those transitioning to a toddler bed.
Don’t get me started on it’s versatility. Dock your baby beside you at the beach, in the bathroom floor while you squeeze in a quick shower, in front of you while you downward dog at your yoga class, or next to you in bed as a co-sleeper if that’s your thing. Is the DockATot made well?
My handsome little 3 month old fits nicely in the DockATot Grand with room to grow!Absolutely! It is handmade in Europe out of all natural, 100% cotton. The stylish Swedish design sets it apart from the other eye-sore baby gadgets on the market. (You know what I’m talking about, right Mamas?!) I chose the Signature Grey because it’s a beautiful gender neutral design but the “Bananas For You” design is so-Miami! There are 20+ designs to choose from and a host of cover options, not to mention fun accessories like toy bars and travel bags.
On my recent cross-country trip to Colorado for the City Moms Blog National Conference I carried along my 10 week old. I know the success of our trip was due to him being able to sleep in a space he has grown to find great comfort in, his DockATot. The travel bag made transporting it as a carry-on easy and seamless. It fit perfectly in the overhead bin and was lightweight to carry through the airport. He was able to lounge in the airport and his normal sleep patterns were not interrupted while we were away from home because of the magic DockATot!
